Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck will be a game time decision on Sunday.

With the way things have gone this week, I’d be prepared for more wackiness. Be on your toes for all players, and have a back up plan in place so you don’t get burned.

OUT WR Roy Hall (knee), CB Kelvin Hayden (knee), CB Bob Sanders (knee)
QUESTIONABLE DE Dwight Freeney (hamstring), WR Anthony Gonzalez (concussion), CB Marlin Jackson (ankle), G Jamey Richard (shoulder), LB Clint Session (calf)
Lewis: Very little info leaked about his knee this week. Reports indicate he will play.
McGahee: For fantasy purposes, it is a make-or-break game. The Colts run D’ is soft, so if he better produce.
Manning: Randy Cross said on the radio today that he’s not over the preseason bursa sac injury. Just something to annoy you.
Freeney: Even in big play leagues, you should play it safe and bench him. The Ravens are a top team in sacks against.
Gonzalez: Fully participated in practice Friday, which is a very good sign.

CAROLINA PANTHERS (4-1) at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (3-2)
CAROLINA PANTHERS
DOUBTFUL WR D.J. Hackett (knee), C Ryan Kalil (ankle)

QUESTIONABLE LB Derrick Brooks (hamstring), QB Brian Griese (right elbow), S Sabby Piscitelli (elbow), LB Barrett Ruud (knee)
PROBABLE TE John Gilmore (illness), C Sean Mahan (abdomen)
Hackett: Give up on him.
Panthers O-line: Gross has a better shot to play than Otah. Check in on Sunday to be sure, as it effects the Bucs D-line and the Panthers offensive skill players.
Galloway: Good that he’s officially out now so you don’t have to guess.
Brooks: Should play with injury, as he’s done for the past two weeks.
Ruud: He will not be 100% for this game. Look into other options if you want to play it safe. He should start though.

CHICAGO BEARS (3-2) at ATLANTA FALCONS (3-2)
CHICAGO BEARS
DOUBTFUL WR Brandon Lloyd (knee)
QUESTIONABLE DT Anthony Adams (ankle), LB Nick Roach (shoulder), CB Nathan Vasher (wrist)

DOUBTFUL DT Jason Jefferson (ankle), WR Laurent Robinson (knee)
QUESTIONABLE DT Grady Jackson (knee), C Todd McClure (calf), TE Justin Peelle (knee), WR Roddy White (head)
PROBABLE T Todd Weiner (knee), G Ben Wilkerson (chest)
Lloyd: I don’t see him playing, which is good news for the development of WR Devin Hester. Rashied Davis and Marty Booker will get more looks as well.
Tillman: Off the injury report. Defensive TDs usually make things heal quicker.
Vasher: Fully participated in practice Friday, and Coach Lovie says he should play.
White: Getting hurt in practice sucks. It seems like such a waste. He has not practiced since smacking his head. Stay on top of this Sunday morning.

QUESTIONABLE WR Laveranues Coles (thigh), DT Kris Jenkins (back), CB Justin Miller (foot)
PROBABLE P Reggie Hodges (left thigh), WR Brad Smith (knee), T Damien Woody (illness)
Palmer: I took the Jets in my Survivor pool. I don’t trust the Vikings, and I am too nervous about the ‘Skins game. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has been declared the starter, and he is awful. Downgrade all Bengal offensive players, and upgrade all defensive players.
Jackson: Chinedum Ndukwe should be safe for one more week. Try and pay attention as to how many snaps Jackson (if he plays) gets in place of Nduke.
Coles & Jenkins: Both players will be on the injury report often, and they should almost always play on Sundays.

PROBABLE TE Leonard Pope (ankle)
Newman: Surgery is looming, which would cost him over a month.
Boldin: He’ll return from the broken face in week eight; he’s on a bye next week.
Wilson: You are living in the past if you don’t bench him.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
DETROIT LIONS (0-4) at MINNESOTA VIKINGS (2-3)
DETROIT LIONS
DOUBTFUL QB Jon Kitna (back), G Stephen Peterman (hand)

PROBABLE LB Vinny Ciurciu (concussion), DE Ray Edwards (shoulder), TE Jim Kleinsasser (foot), C John Sullivan (knee)
Kitna: Dan Orlovsky will start. It really doesn’t matter for the Lions, but it does the Lion offensive skill players. Start other players if you have options.
Lions WRs: Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson are both expected to play.
Berrian: Exploded last week, and he has a super matchup this week. Expect him to play.
Rice: Grab WR Bobby Wade. The game is at 1:00pm ET, so you can start the right player if you track the news Sunday morning.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (2-3) at DENVER BRONCOS (4-1)
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
OUT C Brad Meester (biceps), S Reggie Nelson (knee), WR Mike Walker (knee)
DOUBTFUL DT Rob Meier (knee), G Chris Naeole (knee)

Walker: Keep tabs on him when he’s ready to go. He may be serviceable later in the year.
Nelson: Upgrade all Broncos offensive skill players.
Michael Pittman: Reminder, he will get significant touches, so it’s a great week to start him on your fantasy team.
Royal: Another game day decision. All the more reason to have Pittman starting for his screen passes.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
GREEN BAY PACKERS (2-3) at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (1-3)
GREEN BAY PACKERS
OUT CB Al Harris (spleen)
DOUBTFUL S Atari Bigby (hamstring), DE Jason Hunter (hamstring), DE Mike Montgomery (ankle)
QUESTIONABLE WR James Jones (knee), CB Patrick Lee (back), RB Kregg Lumpkin (hamstring), DT Ryan Pickett (knee)
PROBABLE T Chad Clifton (hamstring), RB Korey Hall (knee), LB A.J. Hawk (groin), QB Aaron Rodgers (right shoulder), S Aaron Rouse (knee), CB Charles Woodson (toe)
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
QUESTIONABLE WR Deion Branch (heel), QB Matt Hasselbeck (knee), QB Seneca Wallace (calf)
PROBABLE LB LeRoy Hill (knee), CB Kelly Jennings (ribs), T Walter Jones (not injury related), RB Maurice Morris (knee), WR Koren Robinson (knee)
Jones: WR Jordy Nelson will get more action if Jones can’t go. He’ll make a nice sleeper against a bad ‘Hawk D.
Packers Secondary: Some good upgrades here, but Bigby isn’t ready to play yet.
Hawk: Doing much better this week. Not the stud many thought he would be, but still a serviceable LB.
Rodgers: Should put up good numbers vs. the Seahawks. Start him.
Branch: If you planned on starting him, your team is probably 0-5.
Hasselbeck: Wallace won’t play, so the ‘Hawks are looking at Charlie Frye. Holmgren fixed him a bit, so he’s not the same guy he was in Cleveland. Still, obviously downgrade all ‘Hawks offensive skill players.
Morris: RB Julius Jones will get double the touches.
Jones: He’s like the best lineman of all time. He doesn’t need practice.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
OAKLAND RAIDERS (1-3) at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (2-3)
OAKLAND RAIDERS
DOUBTFUL DE Derrick Burgess (tricep)
QUESTIONABLE LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (shoulder), RB Darren McFadden (toe), TE Ben Troupe (foot)
PROBABLE CB Nnamdi Asomugha (elbow), G Cooper Carlisle (ankle), RB Justin Fargas (groin), S Gibril Wilson (flu)
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
OUT DT Sedrick Ellis (knee), CB Aaron Glenn (ankle), DT Antwan Lake (groin)
DOUBTFUL S Kevin Kaesviharn (back), WR David Patten (groin), TE Jeremy Shockey (hernia)
QUESTIONABLE WR Marques Colston (thumb)
PROBABLE C Jonathan Goodwin (hamstring), CB Mike McKenzie (knee), S Chris Reis (hamstring), T Jon Stinchcomb (back)
Burgess: The Raiders D-ends is very thin on the depth chart. Expect Kalimba Edwards to be on the field often.
Raiders RBs: Fargas will get the most touches, but McFadden should chip in some significant action. Bench Bush in deep leagues.
Ellis: Even more reason for the Raiders to run, run, run.
Patten: Devery Henderson gets another chance for significant stats.
Shockey: He won’t play.
Colston: Hmmm, interesting. Reports indicate he’ll play. I have him in on league, and I plan on benching him, mainly because of Awesome-Wah, but also because he’ll only see limited action.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
MIAMI DOLPHINS (2-2) at HOUSTON TEXANS (0-4)
MIAMI DOLPHINS
QUESTIONABLE LB Reggie Torbor (hip)
HOUSTON TEXANS
OUT LB Dominique Barber (hamstring), TE Mark Bruener (hamstring), RB Chris Taylor (quadricep)
PROBABLE LB Xavier Adibi (illness), LB Kevin Bentley (ankle), S Will Demps (hamstring), S Nick Ferguson (illness), LB DeMeco Ryans (ankle), P Matt Turk (illness)
Both teams look healthy.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (2-3) at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (2-3)
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
OUT G Shawn Andrews (back), WR Reggie Brown (groin), S J.R. Reed (hamstring, ankle), RB Brian Westbrook (rib, ankle)
QUESTIONABLE WR Kevin Curtis (hernia), DE Juqua Parker (knee)
PROBABLE DE Victor Abiamiri (wrist), S Quintin Demps (knee), DE Darren Howard (abdomen), RB Dan Klecko (hand), QB Donovan McNabb (chest), TE L.J. Smith (back)
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
OUT T Jonas Jennings (shoulder), CB Shawntae Spencer (knee)
DOUBTFUL LB Manny Lawson (hamstring)
QUESTIONABLE LB Roderick Green (illness)
PROBABLE S Michael Lewis (elbow)
Westbrook: At least he’s declared “out” on Friday so you can prepare. Suddenly this game looks like the 49ers should win. RB Correll Buckhalter will carry the load, which I don’t understand. RB Lorenzo Booker has got skills, and chicks like guys with skills.
Brown: Two good games in a row is enough, it’s time to disappoint again.
Curtis: Eagles could use his depth, but he belongs on your fantasy bench.
Parker: Damn it. I want to use him in two leagues. He'll likely play Sunday, though his reps may be reduced. Abiamiri will make his first appearance of the season, and could eat at some of Parker’s time. Pay attention if Abiamiri kicks inside on the nickel.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
ST. LOUIS RAMS (0-4) at WASHINGTON REDSKINS (4-1)
ST. LOUIS RAMS
OUT WR Drew Bennett (foot), CB Tye Hill (knee), WR Dane Looker (concussion), RB Antonio Pittman (lower leg)
DOUBTFUL WR Keenan Burton (knee)
PROBABLE LB Will Witherspoon (shoulder)
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
OUT S Reed Doughty (back)
QUESTIONABLE T Stephon Heyer (shoulder), LB Marcus Washington (hamstring)
PROBABLE DT Cornelius Griffin (shoulder), G Pete Kendall (knee), CB Shawn Springs (calf), DE Jason Taylor (calf), G Randy Thomas (knee)
Rams WRs: The depth is miserable behind Torry Holt and Donnie Avery. Look for a vanilla pro set alignment all game.
‘Skins D’: Springs and Taylor will get some action, but the goal is an early blowout so they can take the second half off.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (3-1) at SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (2-3) on Sunday night
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
DOUBTFUL LB Eric Alexander (hamstring), RB LaMont Jordan (calf), WR Kelley Washington (ankle)
QUESTIONABLE RB Laurence Maroney (shoulder), CB Lewis Sanders (hamstring)
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
DOUBTFUL WR Chris Chambers (ankle), LB Jyles Tucker (hamstring)
PROBABLE CB Antonio Cromartie (hip), WR Vincent Jackson (knee), RB Mike Tolbert (ankle), RB LaDainian Tomlinson (toe)
Pats RBs: Jordan is not the Patriot RB to start on your fantasy team. And it’s not Lawrence Maroney either, even if he does play. Rumors are circulating that Maroney is soft and making the coaching staff bonkers.
Chambers: Won’t play. Adjust your lineup.
Tucker: LB Marques Harris get some more playing time.
Gates: Off the report, and he’s kind of a must start.
LT2: Another must start, but the 30 TD seasons are over. Lots of tread on those toes.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
NEW YORK GIANTS (4-0) at CLEVELAND BROWNS (1-3) on Monday night
NEW YORK GIANTS
QUESTIONABLE LB Antonio Pierce (quadricep)
PROBABLE WR Domenik Hixon (concussion), DE Jerome McDougle (knee), T Kareem McKenzie (concussion)
CLEVELAND BROWNS
QUESTIONABLE S Sean Jones (knee), T Kevin Shaffer (concussion), DE Shaun Smith (hand), G Ryan Tucker (hip), TE Kellen Winslow (illness)
PROBABLE S Mike Adams (foot), DT Shaun Rogers (shoulder), WR Donte’ Stallworth (quadricep), RB Jason Wright (knee)
Pierce: Should play, but far from a fantasy lock like he used to be.
Hixon: He’ll only be on the field for four WR sets, so he’s not to be trusted as a fantasy start.
Winslow: I read that his balls are swollen. You can’t play football with swollen balls. Heck, there is little you can do with swollen balls. To make matters worse, it’s a MNF game, so you could get screwed if you start him and he is inactive.
Stallworth: Reminds me of Reggie Brown. Bench him.
